They were perfect sizes for leftovers and for my lunch to take to work. I was amazed to find how fresh these containers kept my food. I try to avoid using the microwave oven to reheat as much as possible, and these containers are perfect because I can use them on a stovetop (I removed the plastic lid, of course). Would make a terrific gift!
